To be quite honest, fashion has never really been my thing. Don't get me wrong, I like to feel confident and look nice just like anyone else, but staying on top of the latest fashion trends and hunting for the perfect pieces to compliment my style ... who has the time? Between all of life's demands - raising a family, work commitments, home responsibilities and community service - any "free time" that I get, I'd rather use to be out exploring and experiencing life with my family and friends instead of shopping. Lately, I've been a one or two store stop kind of gal. Nordstrom, Anthro. Done and done.
Enter Janel. Passionate. Chic. Altruistic. These are all words that come to mind when I think of my friend that I met one cold and snowy January day in Chicago almost four years ago. Throughout the years that have followed, I have personally witnessed and experienced Janel's styling magic and have seen the results of her thoughtful and personalized advice. Despite being a mommy of two herself, plus volunteering in her community and starting up her own business, she somehow manages to do it all. She possesses the magic to create time and not only has developed her own signature style, but has helped countless others in their fashion journeys, as well. Janel's simple yet intriguing sense of style coupled with her unrivaled energy and passion will have you holding your head higher, feeling more confident and, simply put, enjoying life's beautiful chaos to the fullest. After all, that's what it's all about, right?
